About Claire

Whether I am photographing an author, a corporate CEO, a school principal, or a newborn baby, the driving force in my work is, in the words of artist Alice Neel, “to assert the dignity and eternal importance of the human being.”

I photograph for a wide variety of publications and websites, including the Associated Press, Hausmann LLC, New York Newsday, Forbes magazine, Columbia University, Barnard College, Scholastic, PBS and many others. 

Corporate clients include BNP Paribas, Alix Partners, Beyer Blinder Belle Architects, The Wallace Foundation, IBM and others.

I received a BA from Cornell University and an MS from Columbia University.
